ladder lace scraf

This is my lastest project  that I have been working on. I purchase this yarn at walmart but they only had one skein of this color so i decided to buy it anyway -it's multicolor and very soft.  With only one ball of yarn to work with i had to deciede what i was going to make with it-so i played around with different stitches and came up with this pattern-which i called my ladder lace scarf.
this pattern only consist of two rows 
abrevations --yo and( slip2 stitches, knit1, past slip stitches over)
for my bottom bolder i use seed stitch-row one knit 1, purl 1--row two-purl 1, knit 1

My First Knitted Shawl

 This is the first time a made a knitted shawl, it took me three weeks to learn how to make a shawl. I downloaded free knitted shawl patterns, but still had a hard time trying to knit a shawl--so I went on YouTube which sure did help me a lot. Two of my favorite videos that help get me started are (iknitwithcatfur and laylock). So what i did was pulled out some of my scarf patterns that i had from two years ago and made my shawl using a scarf pattern.......THE NAME OF MY SHAWL IS-THE WHAT EVER SHAWL. if you are wondering why i name it that,it  is because the body of the shawl is the knitted scarf pattern and the border is crochet

peachiegirl's hobbies - free slideshows with music My foster mother taught me how to crochet when i was seventeen years old-but it was just plain crochet single stitches-i made my first baby blanket when i was nineteen-it wasn't until the year 2000 when visiting an old classmates home and seeing a granny square blanket that she made is what started me into really getting into learning all i could about crocheting> i begin to get real good at this craft, and starting selling dolls and bags. Next it was learning how to do knitting i have always admire knitting but thought i was able to do it. So i starting watching videos on YOUTUBE-and the rest is history. I have also learn one other important thing about having hobbies it really helps relax your mind-especially for people like myself who have to deal with disabilities everyday. But most important I truly thank God for the talents he has given me.
