JUST THOUGHT I WOULD PASS IT ON.
 
Beg = Beginning
Bet = Between
BO = Bind Off
CC = Contrast Color
CN = Cable Needle
CO = Cast On
Cont = Continue
Dec = Decrease
DPN = Double Pointed Needle(s)
Inc = Increase
K = Knit
K2Tog = Knit two stitches together
Kwise = Knit wise (as if to knit)
LH = Left Hand
M1 = Make a stitch - (make a left or right slanting increase.  If your pattern doesn't indicate which to use, you can use whatever you prefer)
--M1 L = Make one left
--M1 R = Make one right
MC = Main Color
Oz = Ounce
P = Purl
PFB = Purl front and back of same stitch
PM = Place marker (stitch marker)
P2Tog = Purl two stitches together
PSSO = Pass Slipped Stitch Over
Pwise = Purl wise (as if to purl)
Rem = Remaining

My own creation

I tried for two weeks looking for a Barbie doll wedding dress of a pretty gowns-all
i found was beautiful pictures of Barbie gowns on Google, Bing, Yahoo images, but no
downloads-than finally i stumble upon a web that i had to join in order to download the 
patterns-once i join and click on a picture it took me to another web-site in which you had to purchase the pattern -so i said to myself that's it.  I will try to created my own BARBIE GOWN  so this is it....

PEACHIEGIRL KNITTED SCRAF

*I started making this pattern with some left over yarn, so since i could not make it as long i would have like -i decided to make it a cowl or you cab call it a neck warmer, and add a cute pin. The inside is the DAPHNE SCARF PATTERN which I found on RAVERLY.COM, i added my own bolder which is crochet.*

I name the shawl-YOU GO GIRL SHAWL

The name of this shawl is called —EASY SPLENDID TRIANGLE SHAWL.  But I name it YOU GO GIRL SHAWL because this is the first pattern I was able to complete plus I put my own finishing touches on it and plus I add a little more detail to make it my own. So my shawl is a combination of the body of this shawl is knit and border is crochet

MY FRIEND THE CANCER SERVOIR

This is a short story about my girlfriend that I grew up with her name is Beverly but everyone called her  Putt. We meet when I was 13 years old , that’s when my mom and I move next door to Putt’s family. We where pretty close, but it was short live because we moved again—I didn’t see my friend again until 1971 after I had my first baby. sometimes we hung out together , the following year we both got married –I move away. It wasn’t until 2002 after I moved into a building for Senior Citizen's and for people with disabilities that I ran into Putt her mother was living her we exchange phone numbers over the past several years we became close again.   later I found out that my friend Putt was battling cancer-Thank God she pull though, but as time went on she lost her mother, and than her father yet she remain stead fast and strong-the saddest part of all her cancer return-but she never gave up on life ---in fact she is the one who gave me so much encouragement though my ups and downs even has she was battling her second  bolt with cancer.  You see I wanted to though in the towels ( yet I kept telling myself if my friend can battle cancer twice and yet remain strong-than why can’t i) ….This May 2013 I was diagnose with serve heart decease I needed a triple bypass surgery—and my friend Putt stock by me closer than a sister. Putt has truly been an inspiration and true friend.  A few weeks ago I mention to my friend isn't it strange how GOD BOUGHT US BACK INTO EACH OTHER LIVES.

PS: My friend Ms. Beverly Wesley (nickname PUTT) I must say you are truly a women of God –and your love for helping and caring for others is so beautiful….MAY GOD BLESS YOU AND ALWAYS KEEP YOU IN PERFECT PEACE……………….

ladder lace scraf

This is my lastest project  that I have been working on. I purchase this yarn at walmart but they only had one skein of this color so i decided to buy it anyway -it's multicolor and very soft.  With only one ball of yarn to work with i had to deciede what i was going to make with it-so i played around with different stitches and came up with this pattern-which i called my ladder lace scarf.
this pattern only consist of two rows 
abrevations --yo and( slip2 stitches, knit1, past slip stitches over)
for my bottom bolder i use seed stitch-row one knit 1, purl 1--row two-purl 1, knit 1

My First Knitted Shawl

 This is the first time a made a knitted shawl, it took me three weeks to learn how to make a shawl. I downloaded free knitted shawl patterns, but still had a hard time trying to knit a shawl--so I went on YouTube which sure did help me a lot. Two of my favorite videos that help get me started are (iknitwithcatfur and laylock). So what i did was pulled out some of my scarf patterns that i had from two years ago and made my shawl using a scarf pattern.......THE NAME OF MY SHAWL IS-THE WHAT EVER SHAWL. if you are wondering why i name it that,it  is because the body of the shawl is the knitted scarf pattern and the border is crochet
